Job summary

Alignerr is seeking a Mathematics Expert (AI Training) to design challenging problems, assess AI reasoning, and ensure rigorous mathematical standards. This fully remote hourly contract offers a flexible schedule and the opportunity to work with AI researchers across projects.

You will apply algebra, calculus, statistics, or discrete math, review AI-generated solutions, and communicate results clearly in English. Master’s or PhD in Mathematics preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Mathematics or related field.
• Strong proficiency in algebra, calculus, statistics, or discrete math.
• Experience with Python, MATLAB, or Mathematica for research.
• Exceptional precision and analytical thinking.
• Clear written communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Design challenging mathematical problems with real-world relevance.
• Assess mathematical reasoning and identify errors in AI outputs.
• Evaluate AI-generated math solutions for rigor and accuracy.
• Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and domain experts.
• Ensure clarity, precision, and depth across deliverables.
• Work independently on task-based assignments with flexible schedule.
