Job summary

Odixcity Consulting is seeking a Language Specialist Annotator to support the development of AI and NLP systems. You will annotate, review, and validate language data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and cultural relevance across multilingual datasets.

This full-time, remote role invites you to apply linguistic expertise, follow project guidelines, and contribute to quality assurance with inter-annotator checks. Experience with annotation tools and corpus linguistics is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Linguistics, Applied Linguistics, Languages, or related field
• Native or near-native proficiency in the target language(s)
• Strong understanding of grammar, syntax, and language structure
• Experience in linguistic annotation or data labeling projects
• Familiarity with NLP concepts and AI workflows
• Experience with annotation tools such as Label Studio, Prodigy or ELAN

Responsibilities

• Annotate and review text, speech, or conversational datasets
• Label and text data for parts of speech, sentiment, intent, syntax project guidelines
• Ensure cultural and contextual appropriateness of annotated data
• Develop and refine annotation guidelines; conduct quality assurance and inter-annotator agreement checks
• Provide feedback to improve workflows and annotation standards
• Support multilingual or domain-specific annotation projects (if applicable)
