Job summary

Odixcity Consulting is seeking a Computational Linguist Annotator to design and evaluate linguistic annotation frameworks for AI language systems. You will work with ML engineers, data scientists, and annotation teams to ensure high-quality datasets.

Responsibilities include creating schemas for semantic roles, discourse, and coreference; developing guidelines; and building tools for data preprocessing and quality assurance. Strong communication is essential for cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, English or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in computational linguistics or NLP data operations.
• Strong knowledge of syntax, semantics, pragmatics and discourse analysis.
• Experience building and customizing annotation tools and workflows.
• Proven ability to manage annotation projects from pilot to production.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design linguistic annotation schemas for NLP tasks such as SRL and coreference.
• Develop annotation guidelines balancing precision with annotator usability.
• Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into frameworks.
• Ensure schemas capture linguistic phenomena while staying tractable.
• Build annotation interfaces, QA dashboards, and data tools.
• Develop scripts for data preprocessing, validation and analysis.
