Job summary

Alignerr is seeking an experienced Incident Response Analyst specialized in AI training to help shape how AI detects, investigates, and responds to cyber threats. This remote hourly role offers flexible scheduling and engagement on a 10–40 hour/week basis.

You will work with SOC experts to evaluate real-world security events, validate AI outputs, and provide structured feedback to improve detection and response capabilities. Prioritize clear communication and independent work.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on SOC or security operations experience
• Proficient with SIEM platforms and alert queues
• Skilled at triaging threats and reducing noise
• Strong written communication skills for feedback
• Able to assess how AI interprets security scenarios
• No prior AI experience required

Responsibilities

• Analyze realistic security events and incidents to evaluate AI responses
• Assess AI outputs for accuracy in impact and remediation
• Review detection rules, alert pipelines, and playbooks
• Identify gaps where AI analysis diverges from SOC practices
• Provide structured feedback to improve AI system performance
• Work independently on your own schedule
