Job summary

Alignerr is seeking a Cloud Security Analyst (AI Training) to help shape how AI reasons about cloud infrastructure risks and misconfigurations. You will analyze AWS, GCP, and Azure setups, review IAM and networking configurations, and classify security gaps based on real-world impact.

You will provide expert feedback to improve AI-driven security reasoning and contribute to frontier AI security capabilities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience working with cloud environments in production.
• Strong familiarity with cloud IAM, networking, storage, and container security concepts.
• Experience identifying and reasoning about real-world misconfigurations and security incidents.
• Able to clearly articulate blast radius, risk exposure, and business impact of security failures.
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently and asynchronously.

Responsibilities

• Analyze cloud security scenarios across AWS, GCP, and Azure to identify risks, failure patterns, and misconfigurations
• Review and evaluate IAM policies, networking configurations, storage permissions, and container security setups
• Classify security gaps and cloud-related failures based on real-world impact and blast radius
• Validate and improve AI-generated security reasoning so it accurately reflects how cloud incidents actually unfold
• Provide structured, expert feedback that directly improves frontier AI security capabilities
