Job summary

Syngenta Seeds seeks an Europe Seeds Field Crops HSE Operational Lead – SD & P&S to drive HSE excellence across Europe Seeds. Reporting to the Head of Seeds Field Crops HSE – SD & P&S, you will lead a regional team of up to eight HSE Coordinators, establishing harmonised processes and reliable performance intelligence.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years HSE experience in Seeds, agriculture, manufacturing or similar.
• Experience leading teams in a complex matrix organisation.
• Solid knowledge of statutory provisions and corporate HSE standards.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder-management skills.
• Analytical, structured and continuous-improvement mindset.
• Fluent in English; French preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop regional HSE Coordinator team with objective setting and succession planning.
• Establish a practical regional HSE framework with procedures and standards.
• Coordinate audits of HSE systems across sites and satellite locations.
• Drive the culture-improvement roadmap using audits and incident learning.
• Own the HSE performance-management system with KPI definitions and dashboards.
• Identify and implement digital solutions to improve reporting and risk control.
• Facilitate cross-site learning and repeat successful practices.
• Partner with stakeholders to align priorities and remove barriers.
• Support initiatives reducing environmental footprint and embedding sustainability.
• Lead regional change and continuous-improvement projects.
