Job summary

Synthires is seeking highly proficient French-English bilingual professionals to contribute to a project focused on improving AI systems' French language understanding, speech recognition, and natural language generation. You will evaluate French audio recordings, assess pronunciation and fluency, and provide detailed linguistic feedback in English.

Prior AI experience is not required; your language expertise is what matters.

Qualifications

• Native-level or near-native proficiency in French.
• Minimum B2-level English proficiency.
• Excellent listening and language assessment abilities.
• Strong understanding of French pronunciation, intonation, fluency, and linguistic authenticity.
• Ability to explain language differences clearly in written English.
• Ability to follow evaluation guidelines and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate French audio recordings and assess fluency, naturalness, and proficiency.
• Assess pronunciation and identify errors in vowel/consonant sounds.
• Analyze intonation, rhythm, and natural speech patterns.
• Identify linguistic inconsistencies and provide written feedback in English.
• Prepare detailed evaluations with evidence supporting assessments.
