Propio Language Services is seeking remote French contract interpreters for its PropioONE OnDemand service. Candidates provide consecutive interpretation, adhere to client protocols, and maintain strict confidentiality and ethics standards.

Applicants must submit an English resume, demonstrate ILR 3+ English proficiency, pass a mock oral interpretation, and complete Propio’s medical terminology assessment with a passing score. A full background check and HIPAA compliance are required.

Qualifications

• Resume in English at time of application.
• English proficiency ILR 3+ or higher.
• Successful completion of a Mock oral interpretation session.
• Completion of Propio Medical Terminology, Anatomy and Physiology Assessment with a passing score.
• Background check and security screen.
• Commitment to confidentiality, ethics, and HIPAA compliance.

Responsabilités

• Provides consecutive, first-person interpretation.
• Follows interpreter protocols and procedures as required by Propio L.S. clients.
• Follows Propio L.S. policies and procedures related to information confidentiality and interpreter ethics.
• Continuously improves vocabulary and specialized subject matter knowledge, as required for various clients such as medical, legal, social services, etc.
