Job summary

Syngenta Seeds in Europe seeks an HSE Operational Lead to drive health, safety and environmental excellence across our Seeds Field Crops organization. You will lead a regional team of up to eight HSE Coordinators, establish harmonised processes, strengthen HSE culture and enable risk-based decisions through reliable performance intelligence and digital solutions.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent is required.
• More than five years of practical HSE experience, ideally in Seeds, agriculture, manufacturing or another operational environment.
• Strong leadership, influencing and stakeholder-management skills across functions, cultures and geographies.
• Sound knowledge of statutory provisions, legislative requirements and corporate HSE standards.
• Structured, analytical and continuous-improvement mindset, with ability to turn data into action.
• Experience partnering with site teams to deliver projects and embed change.
• Fluency in English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the regional HSE Coordinator team with objective setting and performance management.
• Establish and maintain a regional HSE management-system framework with procedures and standards.
• Coordinate audits of HSE management systems across sites and satellite locations.
• Drive the regional HSE culture-improvement roadmap using audit findings and incident learning.
• Own the HSE performance-management system, including KPI definitions and dashboards.
• Identify and implement digital solutions to improve reporting quality, visibility and risk control.
• Facilitate cross-site learning and replication of good practices across sites.
• Partner with stakeholders to align priorities and implement the HSE strategy.
• Support initiatives reducing environmental footprint and embedding sustainable practices.
• Lead regional change and continuous-improvement projects and monitor benefits.
