Job summary

The CorteXlab team at Inria in Villeurbanne invites an engineer to operate the platform, administer Unix systems, and develop or maintain the software needed to run experiments. You will automate deployments, manage containers and virtual environments, and collaborate with researchers to tailor the platform to scientific needs.

Proficiency in Python (or strong skills in another language), Debian GNU/Linux, and experience with DevOps tools (Ansible or Puppet, Git) are required.

Qualifications

• Good programming skills in Python, or very good skills in other languages for quick adaptation

Responsibilities

• Operate the CorteXlab platform (Unix system administration)
• Maintain, improve or develop software to run the platform
• Deploy and configure services and middleware
• Maintain hardware (servers, network equipment, SDR devices)
• Interact with users to understand needs and provide support
• Contribute to Docker images for the software stack (GNU Radio)
• Contribute to platform network maintenance
