Crossing Hurdles is seeking a Computational Physics Expert to contribute to AI evaluation projects from a remote setting. The role focuses on analyzing large scientific datasets and refining models, simulations, and workflows within physics domains.

The ideal candidate holds a PhD or equivalent, with strong skills in Python, C++, MATLAB, and ROOT, plus experience in Monte Carlo methods or HPC workflows. Remote, contract, 10–40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• PhD in physics or closely related field, or equivalent industry/research experience.
• Expertise in computational physics, scientific computing, or simulation-heavy research.
• Proficient with Python, C++, MATLAB, and ROOT.
• Experience with numerical simulations, Monte Carlo methods, or HPC workflows.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and mathematical reasoning abilities.

• Analyze, interpret, and synthesize large-scale scientific data sets and experimental results.
