Alignerr is seeking a Cloud Security Analyst (AI Training) to evaluate cloud environments across AWS, GCP, and Azure, focusing on misconfigurations, IAM, networking, and storage security. This role will help AI reason about infrastructure risk and real-world incidents while working remotely as a freelance contractor.

Expect a commitment of 10–40 hours per week, with autonomy and global collaboration on frontier AI security capabilities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience working with cloud environments in production.
• Strong familiarity with cloud IAM, networking, storage, and container security concepts.
• Experience identifying and reasoning about real-world misconfigurations and security incidents.
• Able to clearly articulate blast radius, risk exposure, and business impact of security failures.
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently and asynchronously.

Responsabilités

• Analyze cloud security scenarios across AWS, GCP, and Azure to identify risks, failure patterns, and misconfigurations.
• Review and evaluate IAM policies, networking configurations, storage permissions, and container security setups.
• Classify security gaps and cloud-related failures based on real-world impact and blast radius.
• Validate and improve AI-generated security reasoning so it accurately reflects how cloud incidents actually unfold.
• Provide structured, expert feedback that directly improves frontier AI security capabilities.
