Job summary

Shift Technology is seeking a backend software engineer to join our Agentic squad, focusing on production-grade integrations and scalable services. You will collaborate with our US Data Science team to ensure robust model deployment and reliable recovery agents in production.

You will design and optimize APIs, build microservices, and apply CI/CD practices while supporting frontend needs for end-to-end usability of agentic workflows.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of backend software engineering with production-grade architecture.
• Experience designing, consuming, and scaling REST/gRPC APIs and data pipelines.
• Proven proficiency in OOP and in C# / .NET Core and/or Python.

Responsibilities

• Build, optimize, and maintain robust integrations with third-party tools and vendor platforms.
• Design, test, and scale backend services to meet production stability and performance standards.
• Apply engineering best practices, architecture design, and scalable software patterns.
• Set up end-to-end solutions, microservices, and infrastructure for production launches.
• Provide UI/UX assistance to ensure smooth agentic workflows when needed.
