Job summary

Cephalgo, a Strasbourg-based technology company, seeks a senior Head of AI Engineering for AI Compliance. You will own the end-to-end AI/ML strategy, build scalable ML pipelines for text and voice analysis, and lead architecture decisions, governance, and team leadership across product, data science, security, and GTM teams.

You will drive production-grade ML systems, ensure compliance and privacy by design, and partner with cross-functional teams to align AI capabilities with business goals.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in data engineering, ML engineering, or applied AI roles.
• Proven experience building production ML systems from 0 to 1 and scaling them in real-world products.
• Experience leading or owning AI platforms in regulated or security-sensitive environments is a strong plus.
• Prior experience as a technical lead, principal engineer, head of engineering.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end AI and ML technology strategy for AI Compliance.
• Lead the design and implementation of production ML pipelines and model lifecycle management.
• Oversee data storage, ETL workflows, and governance practices with a security/compliance focus.
• Drive reliability: monitoring, drift detection, retraining strategies, SLAs and incident response.
• Mentor and lead AI, ML, and data engineering teams; promote best practices and engineering culture.
• Document architectures, ETL processes, and governance frameworks, ensuring maintainability.
