Belcan Corporation seeks a mid- to senior-level International Trade Compliance (ITC) Classifier to support classification of aerospace parts and technical data. You will review drawings and data to determine ITAR/EAR classifications, partnering with engineering, manufacturing and compliance teams for audit-ready records.

Remote and/or Chatsworth, CA; onsite 2 days/week preferred but fully remote considered for strong candidates. US Citizenship is required due to program requirements.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of ITAR and EAR regulations.
• Experience reviewing technical drawings and product documentation.
• Ability to determine classifications based on form, fit, function, and end use.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and handle controlled data.
• US Citizenship is required due to the nature of the work.

Responsabilités

• Review drawings, specifications, and technical data to determine export classifications.
• Classify products and data under ITAR and EAR, including ECCN/USML categories.
• Document classification rationale and maintain audit-ready records.
• Support legacy part classification without OEM guidance.
• Partner cross-functionally to understand part function and end use.
• Provide guidance on export compliance, licensing, and restrictions.
• Support audits and stay current on regulatory updates.
