Job summary

ERM is seeking a Regulatory Chemical Safety Consultant to join our Product Stewardship team in France. The role targets 3–5 years of EU REACH and chemical safety experience to deliver regulatory consulting and project delivery within a global sustainability leader.

You will support EU REACH programmes, perform CLP classifications, and prepare SDS and PCN documents while collaborating with international teams to ensure compliance across markets, including France. Fluency in FR and EN is required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ experience in chemical regulatory affairs, product stewardship, consultancy or industry.
• Strong working knowledge of REACH, CLP/GHS, SDS and IUCLID.
• Experience with classification & labelling and hazard communication.
• Fluency in French and English.
• A collaborative mindset and motivation to grow in a consulting environment.

Responsibilities

• Support EU REACH regulatory programmes, including IUCLID dossier preparation, data‑sharing activities, and Only Representative services.
• Perform and review CLP classification and labelling.
• Prepare and maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for EU and global markets.
• Work with SDS authoring tools (e.g. Lisam ExESS).
• Prepare Poison Centre Notifications (PCN) and advise on Annex VIII requirements.
• Support clients with product compliance across the lifecycle, including restricted substances, sector‑specific legislation, and country‑specific requirements (e.g. France).
• Collaborate with international project teams and support regulatory project delivery.
