ERM is recruiting a Senior Water Consultant to build out and elevate our water expertise in France. You will be our go‑to specialist on water regulation, water risk assessment, quantification methodologies, and AWS‑aligned stewardship.

If you can navigate ICPE, SDAGE/SAGE, withdrawals/discharges and EU directives without breaking a sweat — and you enjoy helping clients solve real‑world water challenges — this role is for you.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of experience in water management, hydrology, water regulation, or similar fields.
• Strong understanding of French & EU water frameworks (ICPE, SDAGE/SAGE, WFD…).
• Experience with AWS or similar stewardship methodologies.
• Fluency in French and professional English.

• Support cross‑service line proposals with other ERM teams covering risk & adaptation, permitting or due diligence projects.

• Proven commercial drive and experience with industrial or financial clients.
• Ensure technical excellence and mentor junior consultants.
• Engage confidently with French‑speaking clients — fluency required.
