MeBe is recruiting for a Behavior Technician to support children with autism in a learning center environment. You will work 1:1 to teach communication, social and daily living skills, under BCBA-directed plans, with a focus on consistent progress and accurate data entry.

You will participate in paid training to become an RBT, gain mentorship, and contribute to a collaborative team dedicated to high-quality, compassionate care for families and children.

Qualifications

• Consistent availability from Monday through Friday; part-time shifts available.
• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• RBT certification preferred; must obtain RBT certification within 45 days of employment.
• TRICARE certification is preferred.
• Prefer a background in child care; teaching, counseling, babysitting.
• Ability to frequently bend, lift up to 50 lbs, squat, sit, stand, and/or run.
• First Aid certification and CPR are preferred.
• Ability to pass a background check and work with computers.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; a bachelor's in related fields preferred.

Responsabilités

• Follow treatment plans developed by BCBAs to improve communication, self-help, social and play skills.
• Relay progress to BCBAs to inform assessments.
• Accurately record behavior analysis and progress in Central Reach using the tablet.
• Clock in/out and submit session notes in accordance with ABA and provider regulations.
• Keep the workplace safe, organized, and well maintained.
• Assist with lunch breaks and bathroom/diaper routines as needed.
• Help with projects and tasks assigned by Site Director and Supervisors.
• Voice questions and concerns to supervisors and participate in treatment planning.
• Build positive relationships with families while maintaining professional boundaries.

About What You’ll Work On:

Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is a group of developmental disabilities that can cause significant social, communication, mental health and behavioral challenges.

Although autism can be diagnosed at any age, it is described as a “developmental disorder” because symptoms generally appear in the first 2 years of life. People with ASD may face a wide range of issues, which means that there is no single best treatment for ASD. Working closely with a health care provider like MeBe Family is an important part of finding the right combination of treatment and services. (Reference, National Institute of Mental Health)

As a Behavior Technician,

• You'll teach and nurture behavioral, social, communication, and daily living skills in a 1:1 setting to kiddos with autismat MeBe’s Learning Center.

• You’ll follow treatment plans developed by BCBAs that help increase the kiddo's communication, self-help, social and play skills.

• You’ll relay info on your kiddos’ progress to BCBAs to keep them informed and assist with BCBA assessments.

• At the end of each session, you’ll accurately record the kiddo’s behavior analysis and progress in our data collection system Central Reach using your work assigned tablet.

• You’ll be responsible for clocking in, submitting your session notes and clocking out to align with strict ABA and Insurance provider regulations.

• You’ll help keep our workplace shipshape, safe, and super organized.

• You’ll help our kiddos with lunch breaks, bathroom breaks and diaper changing.

• You’ll help with projects and tasks as directed by your Site Director and Clinical Supervisors.

• You’ll voice questions, issues and concerns to your supervisors as appropriate and take co-ownership of treatment planning.

• You’ll help to build positive relationships with families while maintaining professional boundaries.

• You’ll positively contribute to the MeBe Family culture.

Qualifications:

• Previous training in First Aid Certified and CPR is preferred

• Ability to pass a background check.

• Ability to work with computers.

• Must obtain CPR/BLS certification before working with clients

• Must have at minimum a high school diploma or equivalent- required. A bachelor's degree in areas like Pediatrics or Human Development (Biology) is preferred.
