Job summary

Exotrail is hiring an Embedded Software Engineer to develop real‑time embedded software powering our space systems. You will work on software for in‑orbit operations and ground testing tools, collaborating closely with Systems, Electronics, AIT, GNC, and Software teams.

This role emphasizes robust, safe, and scalable software for critical space applications. You will influence software architecture, optimize performance, and contribute to mission success across ambitious programs in our

Qualifications

Strong experience in embedded software development using C/C++.
Proficiency in Python for test tooling and automation.
Knowledge of real‑time operating systems (RTOS).
Experience with low‑level development, drivers and hardware interfaces.
Understanding of software development processes for critical systems.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain real‑time embedded software for space applications.
Develop test tools and support validation activities and ground operations.
Contribute to software architecture decisions and debt reduction.
Collaborate with Systems/Electronics/AI teams and participate in reviews.
