Free Mobile, part of the Iliad group, is hiring an Embedded AI / 5G Engineer for O-RAN in Paris. You will develop and optimize physical-layer and fronthaul processing for a 7.2x system, from algorithm design to real-time implementation on Linux.

Work with real IQ data, CUDA/DSP/SIMD acceleration, DPDK-based eCPRI, and CI tests. You will collaborate with RU, RAN, core network and operations teams to reduce latency, meet 0.5 ms slot constraints, and explore AI-assisted approaches when they improve

Formación

• Engineering degree or higher in telecommunications, mathematics, embedded systems or CS.
• Strong foundations in linear algebra, probability and digital signal processing.
• Experience with C on Linux and performance-oriented programming.
• Knowledge of OFDM, MIMO, Fourier transforms, channel estimation or coding.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and optimize 5G physical-layer and fronthaul processing for O-RAN 7.2x.
• Implement L1 functions in C on Linux; accelerate with CUDA, DSP or SIMD.
• Build eCPRI datapath with DPDK and zero-copy buffers.
• Validate algorithms with simulations and real IQ data.
• Contribute to CI/testing and architecture decisions.
• Collaborate with RU, RAN, core network and operations teams.
