Job summary

Harmattan AI is seeking a dedicated Software Engineer to join the C2 Core team in Paris to build the nervous system of our taktical Command and Control application. You will work on low-latency, fault-tolerant, secure data handling for real-time telemetry, video streams, and mission commands across a fleet of robots and internal C2 components.

The role involves designing robust IPC pipelines, optimizing resource usage on field PCs, and ensuring reliability under degraded networks.

Qualifications

• Educational background in CS/SE or related field.
• Experience shipping production-grade apps with real-time UI or data-heavy visualization is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design ingestion pipelines for high-frequency telemetry and video streams from multiple robots.
• Build internal messaging/IPC to route sensor data, commands, and mission plans.
• Optimize backend to run efficiently on rugged tactical PCs with limited resources.
• Architect state machines to handle network drops and ensure data integrity in C2 systems.
• Collaborate with Mission Planning, HMI frontend, and UX teams to deliver cohesive product.
