Deutsche Bank in Paris invites applications for a six-month internship beginning January 2027. The successful candidate will support the Paris-based Rates team with day-to-day tasks, information flow, and post-trade activities.

The role requires strong written and spoken French and English, a proactive attitude and an interest in financial products. You will work autonomously and contribute to efficiency through data and AI-assisted processes.

Join Deutsche Bank’s Rates team in Paris for a six-month internship starting in January 2027 and contribute to the continued growth of the Paris division. Your main objective will be to assist and support the Paris-based Rates team with its day-to-day activities.

Responsibilities Manage the internal and external flow of information shared with clients throughout the day, including axes, runs and news flow; maintain new-issue sales books; and support booking and settlement processes for bonds and swaps. Support the team with the distribution of Deutsche Bank Research and the organization of roadshows. Improve and maintain existing tools and spreadsheets that enable the sales team to execute transactions efficiently. Follow up with the Middle Office on any post-trade issues.

Skills Eligibility to work in France. Ability to provide an internship agreement. Strong written and verbal communication skills in both French and English are essential. A strong sense of commitment and the ability to work autonomously. A keen interest in and understanding financial products and the financial services industry. Strong analytical and synthesis skills, with a rigorous and detail-oriented approach. Proven ability to use AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows and solve business problems, while applying critical judgement to ensure the responsible and ethical use of data and AI-generated outputs.
