Valeo seeks an experienced R&D PL Controller for the Interior Experience PL. The role can be based in Créteil (Brain's HQ and R&D site) or in Annemasse (R&D and production site). On-site work with the option for up to two days of home working per week.

You will drive monthly closes for PL R&D costs and revenues, provide variance analysis to PL management, and consolidate weekly Best estimate reporting. English proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in R&D or project management control.
• Knowledge of the automotive industry or equivalent.
• Ability to coordinate on-site controllers and ensure follow-up.
• Fluent in English.

Responsabilités

• Analyze monthly PL R&D costs and revenues and challenge variances.
• Consolidate PL R&D P&L in weekly Best estimate reporting.
• Consolidate and challenge monthly PL R&D forecasts with sites.
• Ensure accurate reporting of costs per TPL.
• Support R&D and project managers with precise financial data.
• Contribute to R&D Budget and MTP processes with guidelines and templates.
• Benchmark and standardize management control tools.
• Perform ad-hoc analyses as needed.
• Propose solutions for cross-site R&D issues.
• Lead on-site management control reviews.
• Ensure deployment of standard Group/Division tools within the product line.

We are looking for a R&D PL Controller for our Interior Experience PL (13 sites).

The position can be based either in Créteil (Brain's headquarter and R&D site) or in Annemasse (R&D and production site).

Your Responsibilities

• Participates, understands and challenges monthly closing of PL R&D costs and revenues
• Provides analysis of monthly results to PL management (explain variance vs. budget, month N-1 on R&D) on PL level
• Consolidate the financial performance of PL R&D P&L in weekly Best estimate reporting
• Consolidate and challenges monthly PL R&D Forecast with the sites
• Challenges correct reporting of costs per TPL
• Supports R&D and Project managers with exact financial data
• Contribute to R&D Budget and MTP processes (guidelines, recharges, standard templates…)
• Benchmarks and standardizes management control tools
• Achieves specific ad-hoc analysis
• Proposes solutions for the litigations between sites, product lines, product groups on R&D
• Achieves on-site management control reviews
• Ensure the deployment of standard tools from Group/Division within product line

About You

• Minimum 5 years of experience in R&D or project management control
• Knowledge of the automotive industry or equivalent
• Ability to coordinate on-site controllers and ensure follow-up
• Fluent in English
