Job summary

CAILabs in Rennes is seeking an intern to join the optical R&D team and work on free-space optical links. You will study, implement, and characterize solutions to enhance the setup, stability, and performance of a point-to-point link, with strong experimental focus.

You will develop test setups, perform measurements, process data, and investigate ways to improve system robustness. You will present results from a complete photonic system, from preparation to interpretation.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experimental work in photonics.
• Basics of data processing and interpretation.
• Ability to develop and use simple laboratory test setups.

Responsibilities

• Assist in building and validating test setups for free-space optical links.
