Job summary

C12, based in Paris, invites a Master’s student to join the Carbon NanoTube Growth team as an end-of-studies intern. You will work on the core components of our quantum processors and help improve CNT production quality and yield.

You will get hands-on with the CVD setup, learn characterization tools (SEM, EDX, AFM, mass spectrometer), design experiments on process parameters, and collaborate with nanofabrication colleagues to analyze catalyst particles and CNT properties.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Master’s degree in engineering, physics, chemistry or related field for an end-of-studies internship.
• Love experimental lab work with a problem-solving mindset; lab/cleanroom experience is a plus.
• Experience collecting, organizing and analyzing experimental data; Python is a plus.
• Fluent in English (verbal and written).

Responsibilities

• Assist the CNT Growth team in improving CNT production quality and yield.
• Familiarize with the CVD setup and characterization equipment (SEM, EDX, AFM, mass spectrometer).
• Design experimental protocols to study how CVD parameters affect CNT growth and device performance.
• Collaborate with characterization and nanofabrication teams to analyze catalyst nanoparticles and CNT properties.
