Job summary

C12, based in Paris, leads in CNT-based quantum processor development, and hosts a CNT Growth internship in its state-of-the-art lab in the Panthéon area. You will contribute to improving the production quality and yield of carbon nanotubes for quantum devices.

We seek a Master's student in engineering, physics, or chemistry for an end-of-studies internship. You will work hands-on with CVD, SEM, EDX, AFM, and mass spectrometry, design experiments, analyze data, and collaborate with

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Master’s degree in engineering, physics, chemistry or related field for an end-of-studies internship.
• Love experimental lab work and possess a problem-solving attitude; lab/cleanroom experience is a plus.
• Experience collecting, organizing and analyzing experimental data; programming skills are a plus (e.g., Python).
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Familiarize with the CVD setup, C12 processes and characterization equipment (SEM, EDX, AFM, mass spectrometry).
• Design experimental protocols to assess how CVD parameters affect CNT growth and overall performance.
• Collaborate with characterization and nanofabrication teams to characterize catalyst nanoparticles and CNT properties.
