Job summary

SCOR is seeking a Quantitative Finance & Data Analyst Intern in Paris to turn data and business assumptions into strategic insights. You will contribute to IFRS 17 and Solvency II projections for SCOR's P&C reinsurance activities, and help manage performance analyses in an international setting.

You will develop tools and processes to improve planning accuracy and automation, collaborating across cross-functional teams on performance measurement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Master’s degree from a top-tier quantitative program (Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Engineering).
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail.
• Advanced Excel; Python/SQL or Foundry knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Transform underwriting plans into financial projections, including profitability assessments and CSM modelling.
• Contribute to IFRS 17 and Solvency II planning for SCOR's P&C reinsurance business.
• Analyze performance drivers to support management decisions.
• Help shape automated, precise planning tools and processes.
• Collaborate on cross-functional projects related to performance measurement.
