Job summary

Autoneum Holding AG, a global leader in acoustic and thermal management for vehicles, seeks a skilled Quality Engineer to bridge Serial Quality, Manufacturing Engineering and Production in Moissac.

You will participate in PPAP, review drawings, define inspection and measurement plans, support FMEA updates and drive root-cause analysis for deviations during industrialization, ensuring compliance with customer requirements and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Knowledge of Quality Core Tools (FMEA, PPAP, Control Plans).
• Familiarity with PPK, Six Sigma and capability studies.
• Technical English proficiency.
• Experience in automotive quality is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Participate in PPAP documentation and initial sample submissions.
• Review technical drawings and perform associated metrology analyses.
• Contribute to the definition and validation of inspection and measurement systems.
• Participate in Process FMEA development and updates.
• Support the definition and implementation of control plans, including special characteristics and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare inspection reports from initial production trials in collaboration with Manufacturing Engineers.
• Create, update, and transfer quality documentation required for production launch.
• Manage and approve initial samples for raw materials and purchased components.
• Support the treatment of deviations and non-conformities identified during industrialization, including root cause analysis and corrective action follow-up.
• Ensure special characteristics related to safety and regulatory requirements are considered throughout quality planning activities.

you will act as the interface between, Serial Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, and Production teams to secure a smooth transition from project phase to serial production while ensuring product conformity to customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Required Skills & Experience

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings with a good mechanical understanding.
• Knowledge of Quality Core Tools, including FMEA, PPAP, and Control Plans.
• Familiarity with statistical methods such as PPK, Six Sigma, and capability studies.
• Technical English proficiency.
• Previous experience in quality within the automotive industry is highly desirable.

Education

• Associate Degree / Bachelor's degree (Bac +2 equivalent) in Quality, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Significant relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal qualifications.
