Airbus in Toulouse seeks a Quality Development Architect to join the Central Quality Organization (QMD). You will design automation and robotics solutions for composite technologies on the nextGen Aircraft program, shaping quality process architecture and preventive standards to ensure high quality levels across future programs.

Qualifications

• Background in Engineering or Industrial Engineering with strong experience.
• Expertise in composite tech, robotics, automation, and statistics.
• Strong preventive quality tools mastery (FMEA, SPC, MSA, Control Plan) and APQP.
• Knowledge of AS/EN 9100 or ISO 9001 and complex problem solving (8D/5 Whys/Ishikawa).
• Fluent English and willingness to travel internationally (Hamburg, Spain).

Responsabilités

• Define quality process architecture and integrate manufacturing quality in development (nextGen).
• Evaluate technology maturity (TRL/MRL) during gate reviews with Engineering and Production.
• Deploy preventive quality standards (PFMEA, SPC, MSA) on technology projects.
• Conduct machine capability studies on automated solutions using statistical methods.
• Lead root cause analysis (8D/9S) and capture lessons to improve the quality system.
