Airbus SAS is seeking a Quality Development Architect to join the Central Quality Organization (QMD) in Toulouse. You will design quality processes for nextGen composites, lead preventive quality initiatives, and ensure robust RM quality in development projects.

The role requires expertise in automotive/aviation quality standards, statistical methods, and strong problem-solving with international travel willingness.

Qualifications

• Background in Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
• Technical expertise in composite technologies, robotics, automation, and statistical methods.
• Mastery of preventive quality tools (FMEA, SPC, MSA, Control Plan) and APQP framework.

Responsabilités

• Define quality process architecture and integrate manufacturing quality requirements into development projects (nextGen).
• Evaluate technology maturity (TRL/MRL) during gate reviews with Engineering and Production.

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Quality Development Architect (f/m) to join our Central Quality Organization (QMD) based in Toulouse, France. You will be part of a team developing automation and robotics solutions for composite technologies on the nextGen Aircraft program. As part of the team, you will be involved in quality process architecture and preventive standards definition aiming at guaranteeing the required quality level for future aeronautical programs. Your working environment: Global capital of aeronautics and European capital for space research, Toulouse is a dynamic city in the southwest of France served by an international airport. Your challenges

• Define quality process architecture and integrate manufacturing quality requirements into development projects (nextGen).
• Evaluate technology maturity (TRL/MRL) during gate reviews in collaboration with Engineering and Production.
• Support Manufacturing Engineering in deploying preventive quality standards (PFMEA, SPC, MSA) on technology projects.
• Conduct machine capability studies on automated solutions using recognized statistical methods.
• Lead root cause analysis (8D/9S) and collect lessons learned to continuously improve the quality system.

Your boarding pass

• Background in Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Industrial Engineering combined with profound professional experience.
• Technical expertise in composite technologies, robotics, automation, and statistical methods.
• Mastery of preventive quality tools (FMEA, SPC, MSA, Control Plan) and APQP framework (ref. 9145).
• Knowledge of Aviation, Space and Defense QMS requirements (AS/EN 9100 or ISO 9001) and complex problem solving (8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa).
• Fluent English (written/spoken) and transnational mindset willing to travel frequently (Hamburg, Spain).
