Overview

The Greek-ownedGroup of companies STELMA T.S.A., is looking for an Engineer for apermanent work in a project at the largest newbuilding cruise & militaryvessel shipyard in France.

The Engineer will bea member of technical projects department and will be occupied on long-termprojects.

Responsibilities

• Perform the dutiesof a Quality Control Engineer (Perform visual inspections that can involve theuse of equipment)
• Perform duties asassigned by the Site manager / shipyard representative
• Visit worksites,QA checks on work in progress
• Perform blast andcoating inspections as needed
• Deliver paperworkand complete forms / reports as required
• Establishpriorities to meet deadlines(inspections)
• Meet productivitygoals and quality standards
• Ability to readand understand drawings and specifications

This positionrequires working in areas with the following characteristics : Ability movethrough restricted openings, confined spaces, crouching (lowering height bybending knees), and kneeling for long period of time in some cases.
