Responsibilities
1/ Health, Safety, Security and Environment
- Manage a system that meets the requirements of applicable standards, with applicability defined according to the benchmarks or standards adopted within its scope (HACCP, IFS, ISO14001, etc.)
- Define preventive and improvement actions to reduce accident rates and associated workplace accident statistics
- Define and plan HSSE inspections. Participate in the performance of these audits and in the implementation and monitoring of the resulting improvement plans
- Advise on and enforce safety requirements at logistics and transport sites, as set out in particular in the Labour Code (prevention plans, occupational risk assessment, etc.)
- Advise on and enforce requirements relating to environmentally classified facilities at logistics sites. Advise on and enforce ADR requirements at transport sites
2/ Quality
- Support the deployment and implementation of the group's First Choice methods and tools, promote continuous improvement and lead improvement initiatives
- Build and facilitate a system that meets the requirements of applicable standards, with applicability defined according to the benchmarks or standards adopted within its scope (ISO 9001, EN9120, BV Satisfaction Magasins, etc.)
- Define and plan system audits and HSSE inspections. Participate in the performance of these audits and in the implementation and monitoring of the resulting improvement plans
- Ensure the proper management of the document management system in France
- Contribute to the analysis of customer satisfaction and the implementation of corrective and improvement actions
3/ ICPE - Monitoring of facilities
- Oversee the planning of maintenance operations and regulatory inspections associated with the building and equipment (excluding handling equipment)
- Ensure that the tool is updated in line with regulatory monitoring and the identification of applicable requirements within its scope
- Ensure that information is recorded and consistent. Lead the analysis of this information and the implementation of corrective and improvement actions.
4/ Management review:
- Encadrer et animer les coordinateurs QHSE locaux
- Participer aux revues de direction et aux analyses de la performance des sites logistiques
Location
Lieu de travail: toute France (déplacement plus 50% en région parisienne et France)
Profile
You have at least 8 years' experience as an engineer or QHSE specialist in quality or safety roles, ideally in a logistics or industrial environment. You have a proven track record in operational management and solid knowledge of continuous improvement and lean management. Your dynamism and leadership skills enable you to inspire and motivate people in your projects.
English is essential (functional attachment in Germany with numerous telephone exchanges in English) as is French.
A driving licence is essential.
