Shift Technology in Paris seeks a Mid-Level QA Engineer for a 4-month fixed-term contract to ensure the quality and reliability of our web applications.

You will design and execute test strategies, perform UI, API, and backend testing, and collaborate with Agile teams to ensure smooth releases.

The role requires 3–4 years of QA experience, ISTQB Foundation Certification, and strong cross-functional communication.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of hands-on Quality Assurance experience.
• Experience testing UI web applications and backend systems.
• Strong API testing and scripting skills.

Responsabilités

• Strategy & Planning: Analyze requirements to build pragmatic test strategies for complex web products.
• Testing Execution: Design and execute UI, backend, and API tests across multi-layered web apps.
• Agile Integration: Actively participate in sprints, grooming, and retrospectives to ensure quality.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with developers, data scientists, product managers and stakeholders to ensure release readiness.
