QA - CAD Interoperability

As a QA-CAD Interoperability , join the Spatial team at Dassault Systèmes.

Role description & responsibilities

Develop expertise on usage of industry standard CAD modelers like Inventor, Creo, Solid Edge, Smart3D

Understand the industry usage of domains such as Mechanical CAD, Architectural CAD, Plant Design, AEC, BIM

Monitor and validate the performance of CAD translation tests

Validation of customer reported issues after they are fixed by development

Developing understanding of BRep & Geometry, PMI, Design Data in CAD Modeling domain, Acquire automation skills, Learning scripting languages

Qualifications

1 to 5 years with Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Production)

Experience in the area of software testing

Experience of working with popular CAD packages (CATIA, SolidWorks, Pro / E, UG-NX etc.)

Experience with at least one scripting language (Shell, Python, Perl, LISP, Scheme, VBA, JavaScript)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong problem-solving skills

Background in CAD, CAM, CAE, FEA, AM and other engineering fields

Programming with VBA

Programming with C / C++
