IXO is seeking a lyric evaluator to assess AI-generated Punjabi lyrics and language quality. You will translate musical judgment into structured comparisons and clear explanations for fellow reviewers, focusing on originality, match to prompts, and idiom accuracy.

Ideal candidates have songwriting or music journalism experience, strong Punjabi and good English reading skills, and access to studio-grade listening gear. The role emphasizes careful analysis and consistent standards across styles.

Evaluate AI-generated lyrics and musical language in Punjabi. Translate your musical judgment into structured comparisons and clear explanations that another reviewer can follow.

Evaluation tasks

• Check generated lyrics against released songs and identify meaningful similarities.
• Judge writing quality, inventiveness, originality and whether the words satisfy the prompt.
• Assess idioms, slang, vocabulary and regional phrasing for natural use in the target music scene.

Experience and listening setup

You need native or near-native Punjabi and sufficient English reading ability to apply detailed written guidance. Bring professional experience through songwriting, lyric writing, performance, composition or music journalism, alongside knowledge of the Punjabi music scene. Use headphones or studio monitors suitable for critical listening, so your judgment is not limited by poor playback.

Formal study in performance, theory or composition is helpful. Credited or released songwriting work and broad familiarity with contemporary Punjabi artists and subgenres are additional advantages.

Outputs and engagement

Deliverables include comparative ratings, musical labels and concise explanations grounded in the actual recording or lyric. Maintain a consistent standard across different styles, and flag cases that require more context instead of inventing certainty.

The intended planning horizon can extend up to six months, with around 20 hours per week a typical reference point. IXO will confirm available scope and schedule before work begins; neither allocation nor an extension is guaranteed.

Pay

Pay is $20/hr in USD. This offer uses hourly compensation. Any future change in payment basis would require a separately agreed scope and rate.
