Terrebonne Parish Consolidated Government is seeking a Pump Attendant to operate and maintain pump stations and related infrastructure, ensuring wastewater and stormwater systems run continuously and safely.

The role requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while following safety regulations and company standards. Responsibilities include inspections, route documentation, and equipment maintenance at multiple sites.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in mechanical maintenance and familiarity with pump systems.
• Fluid checks and preventive maintenance experience is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Operate and maintain pump stations and related infrastructure.
• Inspect stations, monitor fluids, and perform preventive maintenance.
• Document route stops and maintenance actions daily.
• Lead and supervise personnel when assigned.
• Attend safety meetings and trainings.
