Job summary

Alignerr Corp. is seeking economists with public policy experience to shape how AI systems understand economic reasoning, policy analysis, and real-world tradeoffs. This remote, hourly contract lets you influence regulation, welfare programs, and fiscal policy.

You will review AI-generated policy content, evaluate economic arguments, and provide structured feedback to improve training data. Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule, 10–40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in public policy, applied economics, or a closely related field.
• Strong ability to analyze policy tradeoffs and evidence-based reasoning.
• Ability to critically evaluate written economic arguments and recommendations.
• Clear, precise written communicator with attention to detail.

• Assess economic reasoning related to regulation, welfare, taxation, and public programs
• Identify flawed assumptions, logical gaps, or misleading conclusions in AI outputs

• Validate economic scenarios, policy recommendations, and supporting arguments

• Self-motivated and reliable when working independently

Nice to Have

• Graduate degree in Economics, Public Policy, or a related discipline
• Professional experience in government, think tanks, academia, or policy research organizations
