European Space Agency (ESA) invites university students to join the STS-IF team in Paris for an internship focused on propulsion facilities and related tools. You will work on maintaining pre‑engineering and programme management tools, exploring AI applications to streamline activities, and developing a maintenance planning tool for test facilities.

The role includes exposure to real projects, demonstrations of new features, and interaction with ESA IT services to assess long‑term tool

Qualifications

Must be a university student, preferably in your final or second‑to‑last year of a Master’s degree.
You must be enrolled at your university for the entire duration of the internship.
Working languages are English or French; knowledge of another ESA language is a plus.
Knowledge of Streamlit, Python, AI, project management or fluid dynamics is advantageous.

Responsabilités

Topic 1: maintain, enhance and deploy internal STS-IF pre‑engineering and programme management tools.
Topic 2: identify AI applications to streamline STS-IF activities and reduce admin workload.
Topic 3: develop a Maintenance Planning and Prioritisation Tool for test facilities; record tasks and costs, prioritise activities, generate reports.
