Mercor is assembling a panel of propulsion and initiation experts to red-team frontier AI models. You will design prompts across benign, dual-use, and adversarial levels and evaluate model responses against a policy standard.

You will also write the reference answer with technical reasoning to illustrate the correct approach. This is a writing-intensive role requiring documented experience in propulsion or initiation systems and strong ability to explain complex judgments to non-specialists.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, qualifying or testing propulsion and initiation systems.
• Ability to write clear, justified judgments on misuse scenarios.
• Strong technical writing background with published work or samples.
