Overview

Job Description:

Location: Paris or Saint Denis de l'Hôtel (30 min from Orléans in France), Bruxelles (Belgium) or Veghel (Netherlands)

Type of contract: Permanent / CDI

Entity: Mars Pet Nutriton

SRM and Data & Analytics (D&A) are at the heart of the new Pet Nutrition 5+5 Strategy and are a key enabler to drive sustainable growth for Mars Pet Nutrition (“Fuel our Growth” – SRM & “Digitize the Core & Growth” – D&A

The role is about:

  • Driving implementation and deployment of SRM Advanced Analytics capabilities. Act as a link between business stakeholders (sales, Marketing Strategy & Deployment/MS&D), internal D&A teams and external stakeholders.

  • Define 3Y SRM D&A roadmap, with support of Global/D&A Team

  • Drive adoption of existing/new tools amongst Sales/MS&D community

  • Perform ad-hoc analysis in order to generate insights and recommendations. The role has a good level of visibility within the organization as it interacts with a lot of different key stakeholders (local, regional, global, external) from different functions (sales, MS&D, D&A) The job is part of PN FR MS&D team

What are we looking for?
  • Master from business, statistics or IT school or equivalent professional experience

  • Specialization in data & analytics is preferable but not mandatory

  • Fluent in English (Verbal and Written), knowledge of French and/or Dutch is a plus

  • Good understanding of CPG/Retail business

  • Good understanding of SRM levers/KPIs

  • Good understanding of internal (1CPL, TPM) & external (Nielsen, Panel data) data Experience as product owner + working with data is a plus

  • Knowledge of MS analytical Suite (excel, power BI,…)

  • Ability to challenge data & analytics

What will be your key responsibilities?
  • Pilot design, develop & implement (advanced) analytical solutions to drive value accretive growth.

  • Work hand in hand with internal business stakeholders to properly understand their business needs and translate them into analytical product requirements (through design thinking session for example).

  • Engage local sales and MS&D team to maximize the usage of the tools and their continuous improvement.

  • Work hand in hand with regional/global & external stakeholders to explain local business needs and define product design.

  • Bring SRM expertise / market expertise into product design/development. Make sure market needs are properly reflected into global products.

  • Define product implementation roadmap, together with key internal stakeholders (local, regional, global/ business & D&A).

  • Understand data ecosystem and work with an automation/efficiency mindset. Drive in-market product deployment, through trainings, best practices sharing, product improvements. Work with a “continuous improvement” mindset

  • Stay informed on new product deployment by connecting with your peers from other markets & external vendors.

  • Through your unique business / data / analytics knowledge, pro-actively identify opportunities to solve business questions, in close collaboration with internal MS&D/Sales team.

  • Perform ad hoc analytics based on analytical solutions to generate insights and drive recommendations for the business.
