Project Operations Manager – Offshore Projects

Location: Paris + Turkey (Office-based, no rotation, no offshore)

Contract: 6-month assignment (extendable)

Start: ASAP

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Project Operations Manager (POM) to join a major offshore construction project. The successful candidate will play a key role in the safe and efficient coordination of all project operations, ensuring alignment between onshore and offshore activities.

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will oversee the planning, readiness, and execution of operations across multiple marine spreads and logistic bases, in accordance with project objectives, schedules, and HSE standards.

Main Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage all project operations, both onshore and offshore.
• Define the operational scope of work and ensure alignment with engineering deliverables.
• Supervise vessel readiness, logistics, mobilization and demobilization activities.
• Manage marine spreads, chartered vessels, and subcontractors for project execution.
• Participate in operations planning and risk reviews.
• Define and monitor project schedules, resources, and budgets.
• Liaise with Engineering, SCM, Fabrication, and HSE teams to ensure operational readiness.
• Ensure compliance with operational, safety, and quality requirements.
• Support the Project Manager in all operational and contractual matters.
• Lead daily coordination meetings and issue operational progress reports.

Profile & Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent technical education.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in offshore operations, with at least 5 years in a similar management role.
• Proven experience on EPCI / Subsea / Marine construction projects.
• Strong understanding of vessel operations, marine logistics, and SIMOPS management.
• Fluent in English (mandatory).
• Strong leadership, coordination, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and multicultural project environment.

Additional Information

• Full-time position based in Turkey (office-based, no rotation).
• Assignment duration: 6 months, extendable depending on project needs.
