Job summary

Cloud Temple seeks a Project Manager to lead large-scale cloud transformation projects across Europe, coordinating stakeholders from scoping through go-live. You will manage hybrid environments combining public clouds, private cloud and on-premises systems, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery with strong governance and reporting.

The role emphasises autonomy, client relations and continuous improvement, with opportunities to drive development of PM practices and engage in tendering processes.

You will join a team working on large-scale cloud transformation projects for major clients facing strategic challenges.

Your role: to lead complex projects, from scoping through to go-live, by coordinating the various stakeholders and ensuring that the projects progress on schedule.

Working within hybrid and multi-cloud environments, you will be at the heart of communication between technical teams, business units and partners. Mission

As a Project Manager, your role will be to:

Defining the scope of projects: analysing requirements, defining the scope, resources, risks, schedule and governance.
Manage the teams and the various phases of the project: coordinate stakeholders, monitor deliverables and oversee each stage through to go-live.
Ensuring performance: monitoring deadlines, quality, costs and profitability, whilst anticipating risks and managing any unforeseen circumstances.
Managing client relations: chairing committees, ensuring reporting, facilitating decision-making and maintaining a relationship of trust with the various stakeholders.
Ensuring a smooth transition to operational use: preparing for the handover to the production teams, ensuring the transfer of knowledge and supporting the teams as they become more independent.
Contribute to development and continuous improvement: take part in tendering processes, identify new opportunities and drive forward the development of project management methods and practices.

Profile required

You hold a five-year postgraduate degree in computer engineering and have at least seven years' experience in managing technical infrastructure projects, with significant experience in public cloud and high-availability managed services. You have also managed end-to- end mass migration programmes involving several hundred virtual machines, and are comfortable working in hybrid environments combining public cloud, private cloud and on-premises infrastructure.

Areas to master:

• A sound understanding of cloud infrastructure and hybrid architectures.
• Knowledge of migration strategies and tools: rehosting, replatforming, infrastructure assessment, dependency analysis.
• Concepts of containerisation and orchestration: Kubernetes and associated managed services.
• Concepts of hybrid connectivity: site-to-site interconnection, dedicated links such as ExpressRoute or Direct Connect, addressing and network segmentation.
• Commitment to security and compliance requirements: ISO 27001, SecNumCloud, HDS, GDPR.
• Concepts relating to FinOps and cloud consumption management.
• Proficiency in project management tools: Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).

Technical environments:

• Public clouds: Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services.
• Cloud Temple's private and sovereign cloud.
• On-premises: virtualisation, block storage, and proprietary systems running on Power hardware (AS/400, AIX).
• Fluency in English is compulsory
