Checkout.com's ProcessOut division is seeking a Mid-level Project Manager to drive integrations and merchant expansion. You will lead a team of 10+ engineers, coordinate timelines, and partner with global payment providers to accelerate onboarding.

You should have at least 5 years in payments, strong technical understanding, and be comfortable communicating with engineers, product teams, merchants, and providers across Europe. French language is a plus.

Project Management at ProcessOut

As a Mid-level Project Manager within our Integrations Team, you will sit at the heart of our merchants expansion. The team is dedicated to: Architecting payments framework that guarantee high velocity and uncompromising quality for new payment providers on-boarding. Integrating with a global network of payment providers.

• Own the planification of a team of 10+ engineers, which will involve collecting the needs from merchants
• Orchestrating complex merchant timelines and delivery projects, championing excellence at every stage
• Cultivating and maintaining strategic partnerships with global payment providers (we have more than 100, but only few are strategical)

To thrive here, you should

• Possess a deep understanding of both payment ecosystems and engineering principles. You'll collaborate with Europe's leading merchants, work alongside world-class engineers and discuss with banks from all around the world Masterfully navigate complex trade-offs and rapid context switching in a dynamic environment.
• Drive external communication and engage directly, with often physical visits, with partners across Europe. Being able to challenge other remits (engineering, product, merchants, providers) with data driven decisions

About you

• At least 5 years of experience in payments
• Know your way around web-related tech (HTTP, TLS, proxies, API conventions...)
• Have a technical background and is able to understand software code
• Able to communicate with third-party providers from both a technical perspective and business
• Be product minded
• Always curious and passionate about understanding the business
• Nice to have French language
• Cards payments knowledge

What you will be doing

• Working with engineers, merchants and payments providers to connect ProcessOut to worldwide acquirers and payment methods
• Contributing to the business by computing KPIs and improving our processes in order to improve them
• Own the product vision to help on designing, building, and releasing new features
