Project Manager - High Voltage Connection

A leading player in the energy storage sector is seeking a High Voltage Connection Project Manager to support the rapid expansion of battery storage projects across France. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic and experienced team driving innovation in renewable energy infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end connection process with RTE, including managing requests, exploratory studies, PTF, CART, CEX, and payment schedules.
- Determine optimal locations for high-voltage delivery substations, factoring in technical, environmental, and land constraints.
- Develop layout scenarios for HV substations and prepare administrative documentation (e.g., building permits) in collaboration with development and construction teams.
- Support environmental impact assessments and facilitate local stakeholder engagement.
- Represent the organization in technical committees and working groups, advocating for project needs and anticipating regulatory impacts.
- Oversee construction and modification of HV substations and ensure successful connection of new facilities.
- Coordinate technical and contractual follow‑up with RTE alongside operations and asset management teams.
- Maintain dashboards and timelines for project connections.
- Monitor regulatory and technological developments in the electrical sector and implement continuous process improvements.
Candidate Profile
- Master’s degree (Bac+5) in general engineering, electrical engineering, or energy-related disciplines.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally within the energy or electrical infrastructure sector.
- Strong technical and contractual acumen, with the ability to analyze and negotiate technical and financial clauses.
- In-depth understanding of the electricity sector and RTE processes, including regulations and technical standards.
- Highly organized, autonomous, and capable of managing multi-stakeholder projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with diverse stakeholders (local authorities, state services, contractors).
- Willingness to travel across France and attend monthly team meetings in Paris.
