Role
Could you be the full-time Project Manager in Toulouse we’re looking for? The Electrical Development Center (EDC) in Toulouse is responsible for developing electrical products from the detailed design stage until serial go.
Responsibilities
- Take on a new challenge and apply project management expertise in the Electrical Development Center. You’ll report to the Electrical Engineering Manager and work alongside passionate, motivated and dedicated teammates.
- Work closely with teams across the business, the Train Electrical Engineer, Electrical program team and manufacturing department with an end-to-end view (Engineering to manufacturing/fitting).
- Ensure QCD respect for the Design Management phase of Train Harness for the Electrical development center.
- Be accountable for design and development of Train harness with scope Mechanical, Industrial and Electrical.
- Analyze project requirements and prepare design documents for process flows in interaction with TEE.
- Identify all issues and address them effectively to achieve objectives and QCD.
- Manage and publish weekly KPI to project and internally.
- Functionally manage a team consisting of functional, 3D, and Industrial resources allocated to projects.
- Prepare and participate in Elec internal / monthly project reviews.
- Support Harness manufacturing (technical issues) during production phase.
- Support Change & Configuration teams and ensure configuration of our products.
- Formalize and use lessons learned from each project for the benefit of future ones.
- Contribute and propose continuous improvement, especially on lead time and cost reduction.
Qualifications
- Team spirit and collaborative management
- Degree in engineering
- Project management and engineering background
- Electrical background is a plus
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills; ability to persuade
- Autonomy and proactive proposal capability
- English and French fluent
