A European Research Infrastructure Organisation based in Toulouse is seeking a European Correspondent. This role involves coordinating multinational clinical research projects and supporting local investigators. Candidates should possess a university degree in Health or Life Science, with experience in clinical research and regulatory knowledge. Excellent organizational and communication skills are essential for this position, which offers an initial twelve-month contract with opportunities for career development.
The European Clinical Research Infrastructure Network (ECRIN, www.ecrin.org), a public research organisation, is currently recruiting a European Correspondent (Clinical project manager), to be based at its office in Toulouse, France.
ECRIN is a non-profit, distributed infrastructure with the legal status of a European Research Infrastructure Consortium (ERIC), obtained in 2013.
ECRIN provides support to the management (sponsor tasks) of multinational clinical research projects in Europe. ECRIN is based on the connection of national networks of clinical research infrastructures (clinical trial units) having the capacity to manage trials locally and to provide services (regulatory and ethical submission, monitoring, project management, vigilance, ...). The ECRIN core team is based in Paris (headquarters), and local experts (European Correspondents) are in each Member and Observer country across Europe.
ECRIN provides information and services to sponsors and/or investigators for the preparation and conduct of multinational clinical studies, in any disease area.
Most of the ECRIN-supported projects are funded by the European Union’s Horizon Europe (HE) Programme or the Innovative Health Initiative (IHI).
The post holder will be offered an initial twelve-month contract with the possibility of renewal.
This is a unique opportunity for a motivated individual who wishes to further develop their career in clinical research and their experience of multinational research projects. The ECRIN European Correspondent for France plays a pivotal role in the coordination of activities within ECRIN, strengthening the interaction of ECRIN and the national network (F-CRIN), in order to facilitate and support participation in European multinational collaborations.
Position located in Toulouse, France, with travel within France as appropriate, to the ECRIN management office located in Paris, and in Europe.
The post is under the hierarchical responsibility of ECRIN Senior European correspondent, Team lead in France. The European Correspondent shall work in close collaboration with the ECRIN team (core team based in Paris and European Correspondents based in country).
This is a 12‑month position, and the salary is set according to European/international standards for similar positions and will depend on qualifications and experience.
Toulouse, France, where ECRIN has its national partner F-CRIN coordination unit.
