Gleeds is seeking a Professional Project Manager (AMO) to lead tenant fit-out projects for data centres. You will support Directors, deliver high-quality management products, and coordinate multi-discipline packages to meet client requirements.

Responsibilities include planning, risk management, stakeholder liaison, and supervising handover documentation. A construction background and bilingual English/French capability are essential.

Qualifications

  • Experience managing fit-out or refurbishment projects, preferably data centres or mission-critical environments.
  • Knowledge of technical requirements in the construction sector.
  • Detailed knowledge of project management techniques.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and negotiating skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite.
  • Ability to work in a bilingual environment (English/French).
  • Right to work in France.

Responsabilités

  • Support Business Unit Directors in delivering objectives.
  • Deliver high-quality project management deliverables per Customer requirements.
  • Manage all stages of tenant fit-out to practical completion and handover.
  • Coordinate contractors and suppliers across MEP and fit-out packages.
  • Develop and maintain project programmes with milestones.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks.
  • Lead project meetings and maintain stakeholder communications.
  • Ensure compliance with contract terms and regulations.
  • Prepare regular progress reports and highlight issues and actions.
  • Coordinate site activities and interfaces between work packages.
  • Support handover with operation and maintenance documentation.

Professional Project Manager (AMO), responsible for the successful delivery of tenant fit-out works on data centre projects.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Supporting Business Unit Directors in delivering business objectives.
  • Delivering high-quality services and ensuring that project management deliverables meet Customers’ requirements and business procedures.
  • Managing all stages of tenant fit-out projects to practical completion and handover.
  • Coordinating general contractors and specialist suppliers to deliver mechanical, electrical, architectural, and specialist fit-out packages.
  • Developing and maintaining project programmes, ensuring key milestones and tenant requirements are achieved.
  • Identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks throughout the construction phase.
  • Leading project meetings and maintaining clear communication with all stakeholders.
  • Ensuring compliance with contract terms, building regulations, and client-specific requirements.
  • Preparing regular progress reports, highlighting issues, risks, and recommended actions.
  • Managing quality assurance processes and ensuring works meet the agreed specifications and standards.
  • Coordinating site activities, logistics, and interfaces between different work packages.
  • Supporting the handover process, including the preparation of operation and maintenance documentation.
  • Advising Directors promptly of any issues that have arisen, or that might arise, on projects; in particular those that might impact on Gleeds professional indemnity (PI) insurance.

Experience, Knowledge And Key Skills

  • Relevant experience managing fit-out or refurbishment projects, preferably within data centre or mission-critical environments.
  • Knowledge of technical requirements applied to the construction sector.
  • Detailed knowledge of project management techniques.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and negotiating skills.
  • Sound ICT skills, with a high proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Professional level of English and French.
  • Right to work in France.

Qualifications

  • Engineering degree or technical education in the construction-related field
