AVENTA is seeking a Project Fabrication Management Engineer to join the Baleine 3 fabrication team. The role focuses on coordinating interfaces across engineering, procurement and operations, while supporting subsea structure fabrication and piping activities.

You will work with yards, vendors and subcontractors, review technical queries, manage material processes and drive mitigation actions to keep cost and schedule on track. A proactive, cross-disciplinary collaborator is essential.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Mechanical or Structural or equivalent.
• Offshore Oil & Gas fabrication experience with subsea structures and piping.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specs, procedures and work packs.
• Familiarity with fabrication methods, construction sequences and constructability.
• Knowledge of AWS D1.1 and ASME B31.3 codes and relevant offshore standards.
• Proficiency with MS Office; working knowledge of MS Project.
• Experience coordinating multiple fabrication packages and yards.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate interfaces between Engineering, Procurement, Quality, Operations, Vendors and fabrication functions.
• Review queries, changes, field modifications and clarifications.
• Monitor material management, MTO, substitutions and deviations.
• Support welding/fabrication reviews (WPS, PQR, welder qualifications, NDT).
• Assess impacts on cost, schedule and fabrication performance; develop mitigations.
• Coordinate CPI, NCR, MOC, risk management and lessons learned.
• Work with yards, vendors and subcontractors through project execution.
• Support constructability reviews and front-end analysis.
• Contribute to dossier compilation, handover and close-out.
• Support tendering, bids, and subcontractor qualification.

For one of our clients, a major international EPCI contractor, we are looking for a Project Fabrication Management Engineer to join their fabrication team on the Baleine 3 project. Reporting to the Project Fabrication Manager, you will support the coordination and management of fabrication activities for subsea structures and associated piping systems, working in autonomy and in interface with other disciplines.

What you will do

• Coordinate interfaces between Engineering, Procurement, Quality, Operations, Vendors and Fabrication functions
• Review and coordinate technical queries, engineering changes, field modifications and fabrication-related engineering clarifications
• Monitor material management processes, including MTO review, material availability, technical substitutions, concessions and deviations
• Support welding and fabrication requirement reviews (WPS, PQR, welder qualifications, NDT)
• Assess the impact of fabrication issues on cost, schedule and fabrication performance, and support the development of mitigation and recovery actions
• Coordinate Company Provided Items (CPI) and support Non-Conformity Report (NCR), Management of Change (MOC), risk management and lessons learned processes
• Work closely with fabrication yards, vendors and subcontractors throughout project execution
• Support fabrication constructability reviews and workfront analysis
• Contribute to fabrication dossier compilation, handover and project close-out activities
• Support fabrication tendering activities, technical bid evaluations and subcontractor qualification processes

What you bring

• Engineering degree in Mechanical, Structural or an equivalent discipline
• Proven experience in offshore Oil & Gas fabrication projects involving subsea structures (PLETs, PLEMs, mudmats, manifolds and associated steel structures), piping systems and fabrication yard execution
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, fabrication procedures and construction work packs
• Familiarity with fabrication methodologies, construction sequences, workfront planning and constructability principles
• Knowledge of fabrication codes and standards (AWS D1.1 or equivalent, ASME B31.3) and relevant offshore industry standards
• Proficiency with MS Office; working knowledge of MS Project
• Experience coordinating multiple fabrication packages and yards simultaneously is a strong plus
• Experience with load-out, sea fastening, transportation and installation interfaces, fabrication cost control, progress measurement and KPI monitoring is a plus
• Experience with Construction Feasibility Analyses (CFA) and fabrication readiness reviews is a plus
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Navisworks and Primavera P6 is a plus
• Strong coordination and interface management skills, effective communication and stakeholder engagement
• Structured approach to problem solving, with a proactive mindset on planning, risk identification and execution support
• Comfortable working within multicultural and geographically dispersed project teams
• Valid BOSIET, MFC and Seaman book required
