Job summary

RNDV Group seeks a Commissioning Engineer to lead testing, commissioning, and handover of solar power plants and BESS across Europe. You will configure inverters, SCADA, CCTV, and related systems, coordinating with suppliers and experts to ensure smooth project handovers.

You will diagnose faults, provide technical guidance to design and construction teams, and support ongoing operation and optimization of plants on site and abroad.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Power Engineering or related field.
• Experience with solar power plants or BESS is advantageous.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and technical docs.
• Willingness to travel across Europe.
• Category B driving license.

Responsibilities

• Execute commissioning works for solar plants and BESS from construction completion to handover.
• Configure inverters, meteorological stations, CCTV, SCADA, and BESS with suppliers.
• Prepare and execute testing/commissioning procedures and related docs.
• Diagnose faults and coordinate resolution (troubleshooting).
• Provide technical consultation to project teams during all phases.
• Collaborate with clients, grid operators, manufacturers for project launch.
• Perform technical maintenance and fault analysis on operational plants.

Job description

RNDV Group is an international contractor driving the transition to sustainable energy across Europe. As we expand our portfolio of green energy projects, we are looking for a Commissioning Engineer to take charge of the testing, commissioning, and handover of solar power plants and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).

In this role, you will be a key player in bringing newly constructed infrastructure to life, while also driving the technical optimization and support of our fully operational power plants.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

• Execute commissioning works for solar power plants and BESS systems, from the completion of construction to the final handover to the client
• Configure inverters, meteorological stations, CCTV, SCADA, and BESS systems in collaboration with equipment suppliers and external experts
• Prepare and execute testing and commissioning procedures, as well as prepare Cold and Hot Commissioning documentation
• Diagnose technical faults and coordinate their resolution (troubleshooting)
• Provide technical consultation to project teams during the design, construction, and completion phases
• Collaborate with clients, grid operators, equipment manufacturers, and other project stakeholders to ensure successful project completion and launch
• Perform technical maintenance on operational power plants, conduct fault analysis, and coordinate troubleshooting.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

• Higher education degree in Electrical Power Engineering, Automation, or a related field
• Experience working with solar power plants, BESS, transformer substations, or SCADA systems would be considered an advantage
• Solid understanding of the operating principles of electrical systems
• Ability to read electrical schematics and technical documentation
• Ability to independently resolve technical issues and make decisions
• Willingness and ability to travel on business trips across Europe
• Category B driver’s license.
