Overview

Internship title: Project development assistant

Qingdao New Global School, XMandarin Chinese Language Centre provides a wide variety of courses for international students who are going to learn Mandarin Chinese during their Qingdao residence. Our Mandarin programs are offered all year round and customized to meet each student’s needs: survival, business, travel, daily life, education and so on. In the past years, more than 1000 students from all over the world have registered for Chinese courses with us, enjoying the time with our professional teachers and friendly staff and meanwhile putting into practice the language they learned. Both personal and company training are warmly welcomed and served. Quality assurance is our utmost concern and all feedback from our students is welcome.

You will be working in an environment with both foreign students and mainland Chinese people which all can speak English, and you will get the possibility to take Mandarin classes free of charge and to join events which are organized every month.

Responsibilities

1. To assist in development of the Europe / international internship market and Chinese language education related businesses.
2. Promote the XMandarin Internship project.
3. Follow and track the status of running applications on the websites / social media where XMandarin advertises.
4. Partners and potential interns maintenance.
5. Develop the internal process on the XMandarin side regarding the internship process.
6. Assist the manager of the XMandarin internship industry by developing necessary tools.

Requirements

1. Excellent English skill is a must, other European language skills as advantage, be proficient in communicating with foreign clients.
2. Related majors: International Marketing / business, HR Management / Development, BBA Undergraduate students.
3. Effective interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills;
4. Pleasant, creative, enthusiastic, self-driven, well time planner and a good team player;
5. A quick learner who is dedicated to work, able to work under pressure and adhere to deadline;
6. Good knowledge of major social media; great video shooting and editing skill is a plus!
7. Be able to do 5-6 months internship.
